These songs were inspired by Nan C. Merrill’s translation of the Psalms in her book Psalms for Praying: An Invitation to Wholeness. The lyrics for the songs are adapted from her book. The power of her words reaches gently and directly into the heart and opens a door to a new and healing experience of the spirit of the Psalms. Put to music by Gordon Burnham, these songs give expression to the essence of the words.
